TACLINE CONSULTING / EMS EDUCATION
Emergency Medical Responder / Emergency Trauma Technician Training
Every emergency response starts with someone prepared to act. Our EMR / ETT course provides foundational emergency medical education for individuals responding to injuries and medical emergencies in communities, workplaces, and remote environments. Students develop practical skills in patient assessment, basic life support, trauma care, and emergency response through instructor-led education, hands-on practice, and realistic patient scenarios.
01 / COURSE EXPERIENCE
Learn basic anatomy, patient assessment, scene safety, communication, vital signs, and recognition of immediate life threats. Build the foundation for effective emergency response.
Develop essential skills in airway management, CPR, AED use, bleeding control, shock recognition, basic wound care, splinting, and medical emergency assessment.
Apply classroom knowledge through hands-on skills, team-based scenarios, patient movement, and final competency evaluations. Hybrid delivery includes required in-person practical training.
02 / CREDENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES
The EMR / ETT course is designed to prepare eligible students to pursue two distinct emergency medical credentials, subject to course approval and applicable examination and eligibility requirements.
The Emergency Trauma Technician (ETT) credential is recognized within Alaska and supports foundational emergency medical response in community, workplace, and remote settings. Eligible students may pursue the Alaska ETT credential by meeting applicable course completion and credentialing requirements.
The National Registry Emergency Medical Responder (NREMT EMR) credential offers a nationally recognized certification pathway for eligible students. Students must meet National Registry eligibility, examination, and applicable educational program requirements to obtain certification.
Course completion does not automatically confer Alaska ETT or National Registry EMR certification. Eligibility for either credential depends on the approved course offering, applicable examinations, and credentialing requirements. National Registry certification is not a substitute for Alaska EMS certification where state certification is required. In-person and hybrid course offerings include practical skills training and competency evaluations.
